Holy Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia

The patron saints of family and marriage, the wonderworkers Peter and Fevronia, are depicted on a carved icon surrounded by a bouquet of daisies. Their life went down in history as an example of a Christian marriage filled with love and fidelity. The prayer on the reverse side of this saint is enclosed in the shape of a heart, framed by delicate petals. Above the image of the saints stands a table of contents, a buttonhole in the form of an eight-pointed Orthodox cross and a dove, a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
