The Wonderworkers of Murom, the Venerable Peter and Fevronia, are the patron saints of family and marriage, who have achieved perfection in Christian love and reflected its spiritual values in their lives, to whom they turn with prayers for family well—being. The images of saints between two twisted columns are crowned by a dove, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, above which rises an eight–pointed Orthodox cross in the buttonhole. On the reverse side of the icon are the words of prayer to the saints.
