This ring, from our series of celebration rings, is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Engraved around the ring are words from the ancient prayer ‘Rejoice, O Holy Virgin, Mother of God’, which appeared in the first century of Christianity. The words of the prayer echo the greeting of the Archangel Gabriel to Mary, bringing the news that she would give birth to the Saviour. A small pendant on the ring takes the form of a monogram of the Blessed Virgin.
