The inscription "To the Queen of Heaven, pray to God for us" is inscribed on the inside of the ring. This prayer address to the Mother of God is filled with hope and trust, connecting the bearer with the thousand-year-old Orthodox tradition of intercession of the Blessed Virgin. The two upper faces of the ring are crowned with the short petition "Lord, have mercy", repeated many times by believers both in the Orthodox liturgy and in worldly life. On the outside of the ring, an exquisite floral ornament curls in light engraving, in which flowers and clover casts, the symbol of the Holy Trinity, are intertwined.
