Product description
The icon depicts the image of one of the greatest Russian shrines, the Vladimir Mother of God, painted according to legend by the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke in the 1st century AD. Until the middle of the 12th century, the icon was located in Constantinople, and only then was it presented as a gift to Grand Duke Yuri Dolgoruky. In 1160, the icon was moved to the stone Assumption Church in Vladimir, for which it was named Vladimirskaya. On the reverse side is a prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos.

Silver is one of the most ancient metals known to man. Its white luster, plasticity, and ability to take any shape have made it a favorite jeweler's material for thousands of years. Unlike gold, silver is more affordable, but it is not inferior to it in beauty and nobility. Each of them reveals a certain facet of Her relationship with the Divine Son.
