St. Nicholas the Wonderworker

In an ornate sun—shaped kiosk between two twisted columns is the image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, one of the most revered Russian saints, famous for many miracles and virtues. For his great kindness and piety, the saint of God was honored with great prayerful power and the gift of healing, which to this day bestows heavenly blessings on those who ask. On the reverse side of the icon are the words of prayer to the Saint with a towering flourishing cross.
