On the icon is the image of Anfisa of Mantinea, who lived in Asia Minor in the 8th century. The Monk Anfisa left the world early and asceticized in the mountains in complete solitude. Having accepted the monastic feat, she became abbess in the monastery, where 90 girls entrusted themselves to her leadership. Saint Anfisa suffered during the reign of Emperor Constantine Copronymos, who forced her to renounce the veneration of icons. Having lived a life pleasing to God, she was accepted by the Lord into the face of the saints. On the back of the product is the troparion of Saint Anfisa.
