The Image of the Most Holy Theotokos "Softening of evil hearts"

On the front side, in a patterned frame, there is an image of the Most Holy Theotokos, with her arms folded on her chest and pierced with seven arrows. Piercing arrows symbolize the fullness of the trials of the Virgin, as well as the seven deadly sins, tamed by the power of the Queen of Heaven. The reverse side of the icon is decorated in imitation of antiquity – in the form of wooden boards, closed with brackets. Before the image of the "Softening of Evil Hearts" they pray for their enemies, softening hostile feelings, giving way to mercy.
