The image of one of the most ancient icons of the Mother of God of the Iberian Mother of God is depicted on a medallion in the form of a temple niche. The icon has been known since the 11th century and is located in the Iversky Monastery on St. Athos, after which the image is named. The Mother of God holds the blessing baby Jesus in her left hand, pointing to the Savior with her right hand. On the reverse side is a Hymn to the Virgin Mary with a flourishing cross towering over her.
