The icon depicts the image of the Most High Lord, manifested in the form of the Most Holy Trinity - three Angels, behind the Heavenly throne, bending over the Eucharistic Chalice. The middle Angel– God the Son– raises his right hand over the Chalice in a blessing gesture. Behind is the outline of the city of Jerusalem, and above the head of the Angel, God the Son, the star of Bethlehem shines. The top of the icon is made in the form of a church dome, above which a dove rises, a symbol of the Holy Spirit. On the reverse side of the icon are the words of the Troparion of the feast.
