Holy Great Martyr Tatiana of Rome

A delicate miniature of jewelry plastic is reflected in this icon, depicting a Guardian Angel holding an oval medallion with the image of the Holy Great Martyr Tatiana of Rome. This early Christian saint, who lived in Rome in the third century, served God in the flesh like disembodied angels and suffered a martyr's crown during the persecution of Christians. Since the middle of the 18th century, the day of veneration of Tatiana of Rome has been celebrated as a holiday for all students. On the reverse side of the icon is a prayer of the Saint.
