A miniature icon in the form of a Guardian Angel holding a medallion with the image of the Holy Great Martyr Lyudmila, the first Christian princess of the Czech Republic. Saint Lyudmila led a pious life, taking care to enlighten her subjects with the light of the true faith, for which the Czech people loved her. The saint suffered a martyr's death at the hands of her son's wife, for the Christian teaching passed on to her grandson. She is revered as the patroness of grandmothers, mothers, and Christian teachers.
