The Baptism of the Lord

Epiphany is a great Christian holiday celebrated in honor of the baptism of Jesus Christ. The Epiphany of the Lord, also called the Epiphany, commemorates the Baptism of the Savior in the Jordan by John the Baptist and three angels bowed down to Christ and, like the recipients of the font, holding veils in their hands. A dove (a symbol of the Holy Spirit) and rays of the "trinity of light" descend on the Savior standing in the water. On the reverse side of the medallion is an image of the Golgotha Cross.
