On the body icon is the image of a six–winged Cherub, a Holy Angel of the highest angelic rank. The Angel's face, like the frame of an icon, is decorated with a transparent, colored gem. The image is made of the finest jewelry work – the engraving of plastic feathers and each wing of an Angel. The octagonal icon is framed in the form of a pearl obnisi and a stepped frieze. The icon is held by a movable, rounded buttonhole. On the back of the icon is a prayer to the Holy Cherubim for intercession and strengthening of the soul, body and life.
