The inspiration for this piece of jewelry was the images of ancient crosses belonging to the tradition of Oriental Orthodox Churches – the Coptic Orthodox Church (founded in the 1st century AD, spread mainly in Egypt) and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, one of the earliest Christian churches in Africa. Embossed diamonds and smooth curls forming peculiar knots give the cross-shaped harmonious tranquility. The three ends of each diamond symbolize the Holy Trinity – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and together they have twelve corners – the twelve apostles. On the left wing, the artist depicted the Righteous Anna with the Virgin Mary. On the right is the Mother of God's helper in childbirth. The central image of the whole composition is the Savior.
