On the links of the bracelet are the faces of the twelve apostles, the closest disciples of Jesus Christ, who preached the faith after His ascension. The reverse side of each icon is decorated with lush floral ornaments. The words of the Akathist to the twelve Apostles are engraved on the back of the icon of the Savior.
